Hopefully you will find these activities and traditions are simple to plan but intentional in purpose, which in our family is to remember the sacrifice our Savior made for us as well as the promise of resurrection after this life. Feel free to pick and choose what works for you family! I even linked the videos and scriptures so all it takes is an extra click. Even though the reason our family celebrate’s Easter has nothing to do with a bunny, he makes it that much more fun so our daily activities have a little of both! Each day we read a scripture (or watch the video because that can keep my boys’ attentions) and then do the activities assigned to the day. This is our third year of following this countdown so scout’s honor that it’s easy to throw together but intentional and impactful. There’s enough Easter tradition and activities blog posts on Pinterest to send my holiday loving self into a tailspin But, these days with quarantining being the norm (thanks Corona Virus), and for the salvation of some of my momma sanity I just need some easy to throw together activities to entertain my kids for more than 5 minutes. I thought that I’d share some of our family’s Easter traditions and our Christian centered countdown in efforts to provide some light and joy to what can be a stressful and dim time for so many. This post is an effort to maintain some of that. With social distancing in place due to the Corona pandemic we have already had so much change and many of us, me included, are grieving a sense of normalcy. Well, if you’re reading this in April of 2020 you know there is nothing normal about the world we live in right now. You’ll notice this is an unusual kind of post compared to my usual mindset, money management, or productivity content.
